TARIFFS | Pricing Update

Tariffs have become an unfortunate reality for

many small businesses and Black River Acupuncture is no exception. The majority of our medical and general clinic supplies are, unsurprisingly, imported from Asia.

In an effort to avoid the need for a mid-year price increase per treatment, we’ve opted to implement a $3.00 surcharge on service fees paid via credit card, effective July 1st.

Payments made with cash or personal check will not be subject to this surcharge.

This surcharge will reduce the need to pass on

tariff supply costs to patients, allowing us to keep our service prices the same as long as possible.

With the prices of herbs being dynamic and based on international supply chains, the sales price of herbal formulas and supplements will continue to reflect our wholesale costs. Retail purchase of herbs & supplements will not be subject to the $3.00 card payment surcharge, but cash or check is always appreciated.

Black River Acupuncture has been a place of relaxation and consistency for many during uncertain times, and we will continue to promote wellness for those in our care.
